SMARTWALLET PRIVACY POLICY Effective date: 29 October 2026 This Privacy Policy applies to SmartWallet, a personal finance and budgeting application developed by Nikhil Fuge. SmartWallet does not require you to create an account. 1. INFORMATION YOU ENTER SmartWallet lets you enter wallets, balances, payments, expenses, income, budgets, recurring transactions and subscriptions, financial goals, classifications, categories, notes, and other information you choose to enter. Your financial records are primarily stored locally on your device. SmartWallet does not operate a backend account system for your financial records and does not send those records to a SmartWallet-operated server. 2. WIDGETS, SHORTCUTS AND SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS SmartWallet may provide Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Control Centre controls, Action Button actions, Siri and Shortcuts actions, Spotlight integration, and app-icon quick actions. These features use information needed to display your balance or spending summaries and to prepare or initiate payment entry. Widget data is made available to the relevant Apple system components so they can display the information you request. Your use of Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, widgets, and other Apple system features is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. 3. VOICE ENTRY AND SPEECH RECOGNITION When you use voice entry, SmartWallet uses the spoken command to prepare a payment entry, such as an amount and wallet. You can review or confirm the details when the app needs clarification. The resulting financial record is stored as part of your SmartWallet data. Depending on the speech-recognition technology and settings used on your device, audio or speech-recognition requests may be processed by Apple or another system service. Such processing is subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy practices. SmartWallet does not use voice commands or financial records for advertising. 4. NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS If you enable notifications, SmartWallet may schedule reminders such as a morning balance summary, low-balance or wallet-refill alerts, and an evening reminder to record payments. These notifications are intended to help you manage your finances. Notification availability and content depend on your settings and the permissions you grant. SmartWallet does not use notifications for third-party advertising. 5. ICLOUD BACKUP AND RESTORE SmartWallet provides optional iCloud Backup & Restore. If you choose to use it, SmartWallet creates a backup of your SmartWallet data and stores it in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud services. SmartWallet does not operate or control Apple's iCloud service; your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. 6. APP LOCK AND FACE ID SmartWallet can use Face ID or your device passcode through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. SmartWallet does not receive, access, or store Face ID biometric data. Authentication is performed by the operating system, and SmartWallet receives only the authentication result needed to control access to the app. 7. SUBSCRIPTIONS, APPLE AND REVENUECAT SmartWallet offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions, including SmartWallet Pro. Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. SmartWallet uses RevenueCat's subscription-management service to help validate purchases, maintain subscription status, restore purchases, and determine access to subscription features. For these purposes, RevenueCat may process purchase and transaction information, subscription or entitlement status, an app-specific customer identifier (which may be an anonymous identifier), and limited technical information about the device and app. This information is used to provide and maintain subscription functionality. SmartWallet does not require you to provide your name or email address to use the app, and it does not intentionally attach your financial records, wallet balances, payment descriptions, or voice commands to RevenueCat subscription records. Apple processes App Store payments and controls the payment methods associated with your Apple Account. SmartWallet and RevenueCat do not receive your full credit-card or bank-payment credentials from Apple as part of the in-app purchase flow. Apple's and RevenueCat's services are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. UPI AND EXTERNAL PAYMENT APPS SmartWallet may allow you to launch a compatible UPI or payment application installed on your device. SmartWallet does not process or store your UPI payment credentials or payment-account information as part of this functionality. Payments made through another application are subject to that application's terms and privacy policy. 9. LOCATION SmartWallet does not request access to device location or intentionally collect precise location information. 10. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING AND TRACKING SmartWallet uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve its features and reliability. Analytics may include app interactions, feature usage, app version, operating-system version, and limited technical or diagnostic information, together with an anonymous app or device identifier where configured. Analytics are designed not to include your financial amounts, wallet names, transaction descriptions, notes, or other financial records. Your financial records remain on your device and are not sent to PostHog as analytics data. You can turn usage analytics off at any time in SmartWallet's Settings. When analytics are turned off, SmartWallet should stop sending new usage analytics events; this does not necessarily delete data already received by PostHog. PostHog processes analytics data on SmartWallet's behalf under its own privacy and security practices. For more information, see PostHog's Privacy Policy: https://posthog.com/privacy. SmartWallet does not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking for targeted advertising, and does not sell your personal or financial information. RevenueCat processes subscription-related information as described in Section 7; this is separate from usage analytics. SmartWallet's own financial insights are calculated within the app from the financial information you enter. 11. INFORMATION SHARING SmartWallet does not operate a service that collects and shares your financial records with third parties. Information may be processed by Apple services when you use Apple-dependent features, including speech recognition, widgets and system integrations, App Store purchases, subscription management, notifications, or iCloud Backup & Restore. RevenueCat receives the limited information described in Section 7 to provide subscription functionality. PostHog receives the usage analytics described in Section 10, which are designed not to contain your financial amounts, names, notes, or other financial records. SmartWallet does not otherwise sell, rent, or share your financial records with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. 12. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION Your SmartWallet financial data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to create an iCloud backup. You can remove local data by using available app reset or deletion options, or by removing the app from your device, subject to the behaviour of the operating system and any data retained by system services. An iCloud backup may remain in your iCloud account until you delete it through applicable Apple/iCloud controls. RevenueCat may retain purchase and subscription records as needed to provide subscription services and comply with its own legal and operational obligations; see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details. 13. DATA SECURITY SmartWallet uses a local-first architecture. Financial records are stored locally on your device, and SmartWallet does not maintain a cloud database containing your financial records. SmartWallet also provides app locking using Apple's LocalAuthentication framework and optional iCloud backup. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple Account, and device passcode. 14. CHILDREN SmartWallet is a general personal finance application and is not directed specifically at children. SmartWallet does not require users to create an account or submit personal information to us for registration. 15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Depending on the features you use, SmartWallet may interact with these services: - Apple services, including App Store and StoreKit for purchases, LocalAuthentication for device authentication, iCloud for optional backup, and Apple system features such as widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, and speech recognition. - RevenueCat, for subscription purchase validation, entitlement status, and subscription management. - PostHog, for anonymous usage analytics, which you can disable in SmartWallet Settings. These services are operated by their respective providers and are subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. 16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy when SmartWallet's features or data practices change. When changes are made, we will update the effective date and publish the updated version at this location. 17.
