Privacy Policy

Effective 7 September 2026

Overview

Claimora is a private, local-first warranty organiser for iPhone. Claimora is designed so that the purchase records and documents you add to the app remain on your device. Claimora does not require an account and does not operate a backend service that stores your warranty records.

Information stored in Claimora

You can choose to store information such as product name, brand, purchase date, purchase price, retailer, serial number, invoice number and warranty details. You can also attach photographs, invoices and manuals.

This information is stored locally by Claimora on your device. You control what you add to the app and can edit or delete your records and attachments from within Claimora.

Camera, photos and OCR

Claimora may request access to your camera or photo library when you choose to photograph or select an invoice, receipt or product document.

Claimora's invoice and receipt recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision frameworks. The images and recognised text are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Claimora servers or a third-party OCR service.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Claimora can schedule warranty reminders on your device. Notification permission is optional. Reminder scheduling uses Apple's local notification system; Claimora does not operate a push-notification server for these reminders.

Lifetime Premium purchase

Claimora offers a Lifetime Premium in-app purchase. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices. Claimora does not receive or store your payment card details.

Claimora uses Apple's StoreKit framework to determine the purchase entitlement needed to enable Premium features. Claimora does not maintain its own payment account or payment database.

Optional analytics

Claimora offers optional anonymous usage analytics to help us understand which features are useful and improve the app. Analytics is disabled by default and is not enabled unless you explicitly choose Allow Analytics.

If you allow analytics, Claimora uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect limited usage information such as app events and feature interactions. This may include events such as completing onboarding, adding or editing a product, using OCR, viewing an attachment, creating a reminder, using search or filters, viewing Premium, and completing an in-app purchase. Firebase may also automatically collect certain app usage and technical information as part of its Analytics service.

Claimora's own analytics events are designed not to send the contents of your warranty records or documents. We do not intentionally send product names, brands, retailers, serial numbers, invoice numbers, purchase prices, purchase dates, warranty details, OCR text, receipt or invoice images, search terms, notes, attachment filenames or paths, or other free-form product information to Firebase Analytics.

Claimora does not use Firebase Analytics for advertising or cross-app tracking and does not use your warranty records to build an advertising profile. Claimora does not request or use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).

You can decline analytics when it is offered and can turn analytics off at any time in Claimora's Settings. Turning analytics off prevents further analytics collection by Claimora. Claimora remains fully usable without analytics.

Firebase Analytics is provided by Google and is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices. For information about Firebase Analytics and Google's handling of analytics data, please refer to Google's current privacy documentation.

iCloud and device backups

Claimora does not use CloudKit and does not provide its own cloud synchronisation service. Depending on your device and iCloud settings, iOS may include app data in Apple's standard device backup mechanisms. Those backups are provided and controlled by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy and security practices.

Data sharing

Claimora does not sell, rent or share your warranty records, invoices, photographs or manuals with third parties. Claimora has no backend service that receives or stores this information.

If you opt in to analytics, limited usage and technical information is sent to Google through Firebase Analytics as described above. This analytics data does not include the contents of your warranty records or documents as described in this policy.

Information handled by Apple as part of App Store distribution, in-app purchases, iOS permissions or device backup is handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Data retention and deletion

Claimora does not maintain a remote copy of your warranty records. Records and attachments remain on your device until you edit or delete them, or until the app and its local data are removed from the device.

Analytics data, when you have opted in, is handled by Google through Firebase Analytics according to the service's applicable retention and deletion controls. Claimora does not receive or maintain a separate server-side copy of your analytics data.

Because Claimora does not operate a server containing your records, there is no separate Claimora account or server-side dataset containing your warranty records that you need to request deletion of. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time in Settings, which stops further analytics collection by Claimora. If you need help understanding how to remove information from Claimora, contact us at neelstudios2019@gmail.com.

Children

Claimora is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or backend service.

Security

Claimora is designed to minimise data exposure by keeping warranty records and documents on the device and by processing invoice OCR on-device. You should also use the security features provided by iOS, such as a device passcode, to protect the information stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

If Claimora's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
